Bringing Pickleball Enthusiasts Together Since Launch

Our Story and Mission

Lets Play Pickleball was created to make it easier for people to find helpful, trustworthy information about the sport. Whether you're picking up a paddle for the first time or you've been playing for years, we're here to help you learn, improve, and enjoy the game. Our goal is to bring players together, share knowledge, and  celebrate everything that makes Pickleball such a fun and welcoming sport.

My Story

My Pickleball journey began in August 2024, thanks to my sister. She had started a Pickleball club in our hometown and repeatedly invited me and my family to come along and give it a try. Although we wanted to join, prior commitments meant we had to decline several invitations before finally making it to a session.

Looking back, I'm so glad we did.

From the very first time I picked up a paddle, I was hooked. Having never played any racquet sports before, I wasn't sure what to expect, but I immediately fell in love with the game. The combination of fun, friendly competition, exercise, and community made it impossible not to.

Since that first session, I don't think I've missed many club nights at all. What started as a simple invitation has become a huge part of my life. I've gone on to play in several festivals and tournaments, meeting wonderful people and creating lasting memories along the way.

One of the things I love most about Pickleball is that it has become a true family sport for us. My husband and daughter both play, along with my sister, brother-in-law, niece, nephew, and even my great-nephew. It's given us a shared passion that brings us together both on and off the court.

Pickleball has introduced me to new friendships, new challenges, and a sport that I genuinely enjoy every time I step onto the court. What began as my sister's idea has grown into something much bigger—a hobby, a community, and a passion that I can't imagine being without.

If someone had told me a few years ago that I'd be playing tournaments and talking about Pickleball every chance I got, I wouldn't have believed them. Yet here I am, and I couldn't be happier that I finally said "yes" to that invitation.
